Have you ever wondered how meditation can improve the quality of your life? Have you discovered these benefits and are struggling to sustain a regular practice?
Anyone can practise mindfulness meditation. It's a daily act of love, peace, awareness, self-compassion and the ability to live more in the present. With the practice of mindfulness, it helps us learn how to experience emotions without being hijacked by them because we are feeling and listening from a curious, non-judgmental and open place. It can sharpen focus, attention and patience. It’s been shown to offer other physical and psychological benefits like stress reduction, manages anxiety and depression, lowers blood pressure, and improved sleep quality.
For this 6-week series, we are embarking on a mindfulness meditation journey.
Where you will learn a variety of meditation techniques and how you can integrate them into your lifestyle. Track your progress with a workbook and weekly discussion. Bonus, a goal-oriented community and support system who will keep you accountable to this commitment to yourself.
This 6-week series will run every Friday for 60 minutes at 6pm from March 10th - April 14th with the investment of $120 +HST. Materials will be provided.
